EXPOS Version 2.0
Not dead yet.....
In 2011 Warren Cromartie and the Montreal Baseball Project came together to get Montreal back its baseball team. Cro states that "it is his destiny" to get Montreal back baseball. I always say Montreal needs baseball, baseball needs Montreal. In North America Montreal is the largest city without a baseball team.
The Montreal Baseball Project and ExposNation have been doing so much to keep the message of the Expos going and going. So much is happenning around baseball right now in the city of Montreal, it has become watercooler talk again.
In late 2013 the Montreal Baseball project came out with its feasability study. In it people favour a team back and with a downtown stadium 28,000 average per game.
You can read it here:
In 2011 the city of Montreal was treated to a great 1981 Expos reunion hosted by the Montreal Baseball Project. In 2014 we do it again with the 1994 in March. March 28-29 2014 will be an incredible weekend for Montreal baseball. The Jays will face the Mets at the Big O and the 1994 reunion will happen that weekend.
Cro and his group have a plan they way he puts
"We are on first base." Thanks Cro and ExposNation
It begins....
