ExposFest this week just announced a new guest, well guests to their ever growing impressive line-up, and ExposFest is supporting a local event in Dorval.

Have not heard of ExposFest? If you are in Montreal or coming down to see the Jays play the Red Sox make sure you stay until April 3rd, and head to Expos Fest. This is one important event that all baseball fans must support.

Not only are you able to see a fantastic guest list, but the event supporting a great cause, DIPG.

April 3 in the heart of Downtown Montreal at the Plaza Centre-Ville, ExposFest is happening.  ExposFest is bringing Vladimir Guerrero, Andres Galarraga, Marquis Grissom,

Ellis Valentine, Steve Rogers, Jose Video, Annakin Slayd and now

Les 4 Chevaliers. Check out these great highlights of Les 4 Chevaliers:

The addition of Les 4 Chevaliers makes this already family-friendly event,

even more fun for the whole family.

“We came up with the idea because I always wanted to do something with

the old Expos and having a truly Montreal Expos day. As opposed to celebrating

the Blue Jays and see them play exhibition games. I wanted to have a fan

friendly family oriented and I think baseball and family goes hand in hand.”

Perry Giannias the organizer of Expofest.

“Expos Fest is very excited and proud to announce the addition of

Les 4 Chevaliers to our April 3rd

lineup! Les 4 Chevaliers are a legendary softball team that some people

call the Harlem Globetrotters of softball. “ Perry Giannias of ExposFest.

ExposFest is being held Sunday April 3rd 2016 10:00am-5:00pm,

Plaza Centre-Ville, 777 Blvd Robert Bourassa (Formerly University/Evo Building)

Invited Guests: Vladimir Guerrero, Marquis Grissom, Ellis Valentine, Jose Vidro,

Andres Galarraga, Steve Rogers, Annakin Slayd, and now added Les 4 Chevaliers.

100% of the proceeds will be directed to the Kat D DIPG Foundation at the

Montreal Children’s Hospital. The goal is to raise funds and awareness for

this rare childhood brain tumour that takes the lives of children between

the ages of 5 and 9.

DIPG (Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma) has a median survival time of under

12 months.Surgery to attempt to remove this tumour is not possible or advisable.

Aggressive surgery would cause severe damage throughout the brainstem

and cause a quicker death.

There is the horrible truth behind DIPG.

“I wanted to tie in into charity and I did not want to do it for any other reason.

Unfortunately we had a rough year and we lost our niece and we wanted

to do it (ExposFest) for her. I wanted to do it for DIPG awareness because

it is a cancer that does not get any publicity. There are so many other

horrible ones.  This one is just as bad, because there is no cure; there

is absolutely nothing you can do.

DIPG is a brain tumour that afflicts children between the ages of 5-9 and it

is a death sentence that goes for about a year, no longer. Chemotherapy is

not an option because the children are so young. Radiation prolongs this for

about a couple months. Surgery is not an option, chemo is not an option.

My niece was two months short of her 6th birthday.” Perry Giannias.

Tickets start at just 7$, and children under 12 are FREE!  V.I.P.  tickets are available
